Have a question? Text us!!

Yes, it's true--University Libraries has entered the mobile age.  You can now text a librarian your reference question!

Although the University Libraries news release describes the instructions in much greater detail, you can text a librarian by following these steps:

1.  Text vtlib to 77054

2.  After you do this, you will receive 4 responses from the system, the last one being "you are now chatting"

3.  We will send back text responses, which will likely result in multiple texts to your device (and note, any texting fees that you usually have with your device will still apply!)

If you have a very in-depth question, we may refer you to our regular chat, email, or consulting services.  However, we definitely encourage you to give it a try, and text a librarian!
